Unifor Local 333-BC represents approximately 600 Transit Operators and 100 Maintenance Workers within the Victoria Regional Transit System (VRTS).
Our BC Transit Members are the keystone in the delivery of safe and efficient public transportation made up of not only Transit Operators and Commercial Transport Mechanics, but also Autobody and Collision Technicians, Facilities Cleaning Staff, Facilities Maintenance Staff (Electricians and Plumbers), Interior Bus Cleaners, Machinists, Service Island Staff, Utility Persons, and Welders.
Unifor Local 333-BC represents approximately 15 Custom Transit Operators. handyDART is an accessible, door-to-door shared transit service for people with permanent or temporary disabilities that prevent them from using fixed-route transit without assistance from another person. handyDART picks you up at your accessible door and drops you off at the accessible door of your destination. Customers must first register, at no charge, for this program.
Upon registering, you will be served by the Unifor Local 333-BC handyDART Cowichan Valley Membership that is the keystone in the delivery of safe and efficient Custom Transit services in their respective regions. Fueled by a passionate Membership, our Members come together to support vulnerable members of our society to fulfill their daily activities.
Unifor Local 333-BC members help book the rides, dispatch the bookings, and fulfill the bookings with a fleet of professionally maintained and repaired buses.

Unifor Local 333-BC represents approximately 55 Medi-Van Operators, Occupational First Aid Attendants, and Dispatchers.
Medi-Van provides non-emergency patient transfer services, which include stretcher transfers, wheelchair transfers, and ambulatory patient transfers. In addition to this many Operators are qualified First Aid Attendants who can staff your personal or workplace events.
Upon booking a ride with Medi-Van, a Unifor Local 333-BC Member will serve to assist you in attending all your medical appointments.
